The Kama river trip on the comfortable motor ship “Fedor Gladkov” was a present given to 300 orphans – the inmates of the Children's Homes of 18 territories of Permsky Krai in honour of The Day of Children’s protection. To purchase the tickets the regional budget granted about 2 million rubles.

Today the children went on 3-day trip down Kama river up to Chaikovsky and back. For majority of the children the trip is the first one of such a kind. The meetings with new people, the games and the contests wait for the children.

“Annually the children who are not in the charge of their parents went for rest to the country camps and sanatoriums. This year 300 children will go down Kama river. And such a mass trip will be a good tradition. Our task is to make the children feel happy”, - Tatyana Golitzina, the regional vice prime-minister, said.

The today’s festival held in the academic theatre “The theatre” is timed to the Day of Children’s protection. A premiere of the spectacle “The cat in the boots” will be showed to 600 schoolchildren from the territories of the Krai who ended the academic year successfully. Before the spectacle and during its interval there will be contests and games including the contest of the pictures by the fairy-tale of Charles Perro organized for the children.

The rewarding ceremony of the exemplary children’s creative groups of Permsky Krai with the Federal educational agency will open the festival. This year the rank “The exemplary children’s group” was given to 13 creative groups of the Krai.
